Message for Hurling Mentors (U12)- Blitz
Hi There
Could you please forward this to your U12 Hurling manager.
My club Ballinascreen are hosting an U12 Ulster hurling blitz on saturday the 13
september and are inviting your club to send teams. The Blitz will involve teams
from all over Ulster and entrance is by invitation only. The Blitz will be played
on a shortened field on a 9 a-side basis. There will be a section for A teams and a section for B teams and we are asking each club to try and bring a team for each section so all players will get games.
Each team (A & B) will get 4/5 group games with the winners progressing to the
final. There will be medals for the winners and the runners up in each section.
The Blitz will start at 10:30 SHARP so all clubs must be there and be togged out
before this.

Juvenile Hurling
Well done to the minors on their great victory in the championship beating Castlewellan 7-12 to 2-5 and setting up a semi final meeting with St Patricks. Once again our four county minors starred showing good form ahead of their All Ireland Final appearance V Sligo in the All Ireland Minor B Final.
Great to see so many U12s (over 35) attending the hurling summer camp at the club this week, with only two games left in the U12 league Shamrocks are unbeaten and are set to add the Premier Divison 1 title to their South Down league victory earlier in the summer. Well done to all involved.

it is hoped that the presentation of the league trophy will take place at the clubhouse on Sunday 7 September at 1pm.
The match with Warrenpoint will be at 11am in Milltown Warrenpoint and we will then go to the clubhouse where parents can take photos and have a cup of tea.All under 12 parents and families are invited.
Gudluk 2 all the lads who play Burren on saturday...ive watched them play twice and it has never failed to be a thrilling and entertaining match...they are a good bunch of footballers and hopefully they will bring the "A" Championship back 2 shamrox!
