| Support for Future Stars |
| I would firstly like to congratulate both the U14's and the U-16's in both reaching the finals of their respective championships within the last week or so. Also the U-12's can clinch the league title if they can beat Burren this Sunday morning (what a place to win it). The magnitute of these teams achievements to date cannot be overstated and it is a great source of satisfaction to see under-age football flourishing within our club. All this has taken a great effort from both the players and mentors, now its the turn of us members to get out and support each team in the coming weeks to help them in their final push for success. |

| Underage Hurling Success |
| Another good week for the underage hurlers with the U12s continuing with their great run of results beating Carryduff 5-8 to 0-0 to remain top of the Premier U12 league after previous victories against Portaferry and Ballygalget.
Great victory for the minors last night beating Liatriom 3-9 to 0-10 with our county minors Colm, Darren, Paddy while Paul Sheehan scored 2-6. |

| Well done to the Senior Hurlers who beat Ballgalget in the Championship, (1-12, 1-10) from what I believe it was a hard fought game with no quarter given or taken. Keep up the good work and bring on Portaferry. Good luck to the Seior footballers against Saul in the Championship. |

| Another Championship Final |
| I would like to congradulate the u-16s on defeating Warrenpoint to secure a place in the Championship Final. This is the 3rd Championship Final for some of the boys in 4 years only seperated by winning a league final. best of luck to the lads!! Lets see if we can make it 2 years in a row nd restore some respect to Newry Shamrocks |
