| Shamrocks Ladies play home in the 1st round of the championship on Saturday night (14th) against Burren.

| Intermediate Hurling Championship |
| Well done to the Senior hurlers who beat Kiclief tonight in the Intermediate Championship by two points.
Despite missing some scores at crucial times the Shamrocks dug out a win against their rugged opponents with a great display of grit and heart. Outstanding performances at the back from Gary and Kieran Courtney along with Mark Cribben, In midfield Neil Courtney was man of the match outplaying county senior Fintan Conway while Eoin and Artie McGuinness led the way up front.
The lads now play Warrenpoint in the semi final in two weeks time. |

| Wake up and smell the coffee, with several notable exceptions, they were not interested. It was just more of the same old stuff, some of our "Senior" players should have a good look at themselves.

| The 2 goals were the turning points. We got caught with a sucker punch before half time, and Eoin McGuinness goal save. It lacked intensity for championship football and although we got a good start to the 2nd half going in the lead it was disappointing we never pushed on in the 2nd half. |

| anybody any thoughts on how we performed think the boys played well apart from last 15 they fell apart. think gareth loughran best in defence usual confidence think courtney was good in the midfield think mcguinness was best overall 1st time ive seen him play like that in about two years. any thoughts? |
