Coaching Awards
Congratulations to Collie and Conor on achieving their Level 1 Coaching Award. On being interviewed by by club press officer Collie stated the reason for their sucess is that we both recently undertook line Dancing lessons and this has proved a remarkable influence towards our achieving this award. Connor said that they will be releasing a video in time for Christmas of some of their recently acquired skills and this will knock Oisin Mc convilles book off the bestseller list.

2007 Shamrocks Summary
I am going to complete the year 2007 season summary and add to club history. Can all managers/mentors get me the highlights of their year...Want to cover the whole club if we can so football, so ladies football, hurling & camogs. I wont be able to put many pics on so will probably be putting the U14 team given their achievements and U10s who won lots this year..Email to webmaster@newryshamrocks.org..Also if any presentation nights pics please send thru and will get added to gallery.

Moore hill construction is very disapointed they never received the contract for the building of Collie Cunninghams new Dog run (even though we supplied most of the materials over the years) Therefore I had no choice but to contact building control to inform them he had no planning permission and the dog warden that the new mutt had no licence. On a seperate note I seen a fox on the back field chasing after a ball behind the far Goal mouths last night, Which made me realise why Collie has bought the new dog.. Once its trained up Sean feehan is out of a job with the under 16 team....

the under 14 management team this year is Tom Gorman,Conor Haughey,Joe Boardman & Packie Heaney. training starts this Sunday 18th Novemeber on the back Field (which shall be closed teh following week) To this uyears Under 14 panle please ensure you are at this weeks training to be advised of future arrangements.
